Carmen Brown

Carmen is the head podiatrist and director of Step Up Podiatry.

Carmen is registered with the NZ Podiatry Board, Podiatry NZ and ACC.

Qualification:

Post graduate certificate in Health Science Podiatry

Bachelor of Health Science Podiatry

Certificate in Health Care Support

Diploma in beauty therapist

Carmen enjoys all aspects of podiatry. She has extensive experience in a wide range of podiatric based treatments, including shockwave, cupping, and cosmetic nail construction.  She has a special interest in diabetic foot management and the prevention of diabetic foot complications and works in community based diabetic foot clinics throughout South Auckland

Ash Anjali Naidu

Ash graduated from AUT with a BHSc. Pod from AUT University. She is currently studying towards a post graduate certificate in Health Science Podiatry.

She is registered with the NZ Podiatry Board and ACC

Ash joined the Step Up Podiatry team in 2023. Ash enjoys all aspects of podiatry and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working in podiatry clinics and hospitals across New Zealand. Ash has specialised skills in high-risk diabetic management, myofascial dry needling, cosmetic nail reconstruction and footwear modification.

She has a passion for patient-centered care and pursue opportunities to strengthen her skills. We are excited to have Ash part of the Step Up Podiatry team!

 

Julia Rennie

Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and is registered with the NZ Podiatry Board and ACC.

Julia was led into podiatry by her passion for helping people as well as her interest in medical care. She believes in a patient-focused approach, combining her knowledge and skills with patient preferences to provide the best possible outcomes.

 

Julia enjoys all aspects of podiatry, with interest in ingrown nail surgeries and diabetic foot care. Outside of her professional pursuits, Julia enjoys playing water polo, running, and cycling as well as spending time with family and friends.

Abe Pulos

Abe graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and is registered with the NZ Podiatry Board and ACC.

Abe has a passion for the medical field and finds great reward from helping people. He is determined to achieving gold standard protocols, with patient-centered management plans and treatments to provide the utmost outcomes. Abe is well-versed in podiatry and excels in providing the best possible advice and education to those in his care.

 

Abe enjoys all aspects of podiatry, with a keen interest in ingrown toenail surgeries. He has also gained extensive knowledge and experience whilst working in hospital settings, caring for people with high-risk diabetes and wound care. Outside of work, Abe is a self-proclaimed foodie, exploring his local areas, and enjoys spending time with family & friends. Abe also likes to keep up with his fitness and go to the gym
