Carmen is the head podiatrist and director of Step Up Podiatry.
Carmen graduated with a BHSc. Pod from AUT University and is registered with the NZ Podiatry Board and ACC. Carmen is also a qualified Beauty Therapist.
Carmen enjoys all aspects of podiatry. Her special interests include dealing with problematic ingrown toe nails, diabetic foot management and the prevention of diabetic foot complications. Carmen frequently takes on challenging cases, treating patients with both acute and chronic pain issues.
Palwasha graduated from AUT with a BHSc. Pod from AUT University and is registered with the NZ Podiatry Board and ACC.
Palwasha joined the Step Up Podiatry team in 2020. Palwasha’s passion for podiatry comes from the opportunity to help people become pain-free. Her interest in the human body leads her to have a special interest in the biomechanics of the lower limb. She also enjoys treating diabetes patients with different skin conditions.
Outside of work, she enjoys going on road trips with friends and doing volunteer work in her community
Eimear graduated from the United Kingdom at Cardiff University and is registered with the NZ Podiatry Board and ACC.
Eimear enjoys all aspects of Podiatry. As a lover of all thing sports, she does have a special interest in sports injuries and enjoys bio-mechanics. Eimear has experience is manufacturing and prescribing orthotics. Eimear also equally enjoys performing palliative care treatments and helping you feel lighter and happier on your feet.
Andea graduated with a BHSc. Pod from AUT University and is registered with the NZ Podiatry Board and ACC.
Andea is the newest member of the Step Up Podiatry team, Andea graduated from AUT with a BHSc in Podiatry. Andea was awarded top clinical student. Andea has worked for Step Up Podiatry as part-time a the receptionist, since the beginning of her degree, and now she is full-time podiatrist. Andea enjoys all aspects of podiatry with a special interest in bio mechanics and sports related injuries along with, any kind of nail and skin conditions especially chronic ingrown toenails. She believes it is important to educate and inspire each and every patient so that they can be looked after from the feet up
